Ionuț Podgoreanu
Ionuț Podgoreanu began studying the French horn in Ploiești at the age of 11, with Professor Liviu Săvuță. He started his undergraduate studies in 2002 at the National University of Music in Bucharest, in the class of Professor Nicolae Lipocziar. In 2003, he was admitted to the renowned Mozarteum University in Salzburg, studying in the class of Professor Hansjörg Angerer.
In his field, Ionuț has participated in masterclasses with renowned artists, notably Stefan Dohr, Radek Baborák, and Alessio Allegrini. In 2003, he became a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, conducted by maestros such as Pierre Boulez, Claudio Abbado, and Ivan Fischer.
Since 2006, Ionuț has been the principal horn of the Gran Teatro del Liceu Symphony Orchestra in Barcelona, and in 2014, he was appointed professor of horn at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona.
Since 2018, Ionuț has been collaborating with the MusicAeterna Orchestra, an ensemble under the baton of the renowned conductor Teodor Currentzis. Over the years, he has collaborated with orchestras such as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Münchener Kammerorchester, the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra, the Malaysian Philharmonic, and Spira Mirabilis.
Ionuț Podgoreanu has won First Prize at the following International Competitions: Jeunesses Musicales (1999), Yamaha Competition (2003), Telfs (2004), Mozart (2006), and Domenico Ceccarossi (2007).
Ionuț Podgoreanu a început să studieze cornul la Ploiești, la vârsta de 11 ani, cu profesorul Liviu Săvuță. Studiile de licență le începe în 2002 la Universitatea Națională de Muzică din București, clasa profesorului Nicolae Lipocziar. În 2003 este admis la renumita Universitate „Mozarteum” din Salzburg, clasa profesorului Hansjörg Angerer.
În domeniul său Ionuț a participat la cursuri de măiestrie interpretativă cu artiști renumiți, din care îi amintim pe: Stefan Dohr, Radek Baborák și Allesio Allegrini. În 2003 devine membru al Orchestrei de Tineret „Gustav Mahler”, dirijată de maeștrii precum Pierre Boulez, Claudio Abbado și Ivan Fischer.
Începând cu 2006, Ionuț este prim cornist al Orchestrei Simfonice „Gran Teatro del Liceu” din Barcelona, iar în 2014 este numit profesor de corn la „Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu” din Barcelona.
Din 2018 Ionuț colaborează cu Orchestra „MusicAeterna”, ansamblu aflat sub bagheta renumitului dirijor Teodor Currentzis. De-a lungul anilor el a colaborat cu orchestre precum: „Mahler Chamber Orchestra”, „Münchener Kammerorchester”, Orchestra Operei din Frankfurt, „Malaysian Philharmonic”, „Spira Mirabilis”.
Ionuț Podgoreanu obține Premiul I la următoarele Concursuri Internaționale: „Jeunesses Musicales” (1999), „Yamaha Competition” (2003), „Telfs” (2004), „Mozart” (2006) și „Domenico Ceccarossi” (2007).
